On Thursday, February 17, the ACISD School Board approved the hiring of Dr. Clark Alan Lowery, Jr as the Assistant Superintendent of Aransas County ISD.
Dr. Lowery was raised in Big Spring, Texas and received his B.A. in Biology from Texas Tech University. In 2009, he obtained his Master’s in Education from U.T. Permian-Basin and in 2021 received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce.
Dr. Lowery has taught biology, chemistry, and physics, coached basketball, served as an assistant principal, and most recently a junior high principal. Welcome, Dr. Lowery to Pirate Nation!
