About Me
Coach Bates is entering his 23rd year overall in education and his 7th here at Rockport-Fulton HS. Coach Bates will be teaching World History. He is also the head boys' basketball coach for the Pirates. Coach Bates has been married for 23 years to Joanna Bates who is also a teacher here in ACISD. They have two sons Chance who will be a freshman at Texas A&M and Bryce who is a Junior at RFHS.
