About Me

Along with teaching English II and English II Honors, I am also the student council sponsor.  This is my eighth year at Rockport-Fulton High School, and I have been teaching for eighteen years. 

 

My favorite grade level to teach is sophomores, so my day is filled with teens who are on the cusp of entering the working world, anticipating getting a driver's license, and no longer the new kid on the block.  It's a privilege to share in these thresholds of maturity.

 

Being the student council sponsor is a rewarding venture.  These students demonstrate wonderful leadership skills in the activities that we host.  Some of these include Fish Camp, Homecoming Court, Homecoming Dance, and Senior Breakfast to name a few.

 

If a student is in need of tutoring, I am available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons or by student request.
