About Me

 

     Hello all! Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, I went to University of Wisconsin - Madison and then began a life of multiple careers: outdoor educator, divemaster, fisheries biologist, and more! After earning a Masters in Marine Biology from North Carolina State University, I began an 11-year career as a Marine Biologist for NOAA in Beaufort, NC. I moved to Rockport with my family in July of 2017. I started a brand new career as a teacher in 2019 here at RFHS!

 

     I enjoy living in Rockport! We are surrounded by so many interesting aquatic ecosystems - some of which we can walk to from RFHS. Now that is a privilege! In my free time I like to ride my bike, kayak, read, camp, laugh, and adventure locally or outside Rockport.
