About Me

Hi, my name is Suzy Citek and I love Rockport.  I have coming to Rockport for vacations all my life, so to live here is a dream come true.  I have one daughter, a structured learning teacher in Cibolo, Tx, and a son-in-law who, after 18 years in law enforcement, has turned in his badge for a classroom.  He will teach criminal justice in New Braunfels, TX.  I also have three wonderful grandsons.  One is in the working world, one a senior at Steele HS, and a fifth grader at  Cibolo Valley Elem. School.  When my husband and I moved to Rockport in 2010, I opened and ran the Bay Education Center.  After his death in 2013, I went back to teaching.  This year marks year fifty for me. I have taught in San Antonio (my hometown), Seguin, New Braunfels, and Wimberley.  I've taught everything from dance team to tennis, technology to math.  I look forward to teaching each and everyone of you this year.
