OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  In order for you to be successful in World History, there are a few other items you need to be aware of.

  • ABSENCE POLICY: If you are absent you get two days to get the work you missed completed.  However, if you are absent the day of an exam, you should be prepared to take the test the day you come back to school because you did not miss any instruction.

  • MAKE-UP WORK:  It is your responsibility to get work that you missed when you were absent.  If you know you are going to be absent for UIL/School reasons, get your work ahead of time so you do not get behind.

  • RESTROOM/NURSE POLICY- In order to be successful students need to be in class.   Students will need to utilize their passing period time more wisely.  Nurse passes will also be limited to true emergency situations.  It should be very rare that a student will have a legitimate need to go to the Nurse’s office.

  • SUPPLIES - Students are expected to bring the necessary and appropriate school supplies to class every day.  The following items are strongly recommended: Chromebook and writing utensil.  Students cannot complete in-class assignments without the proper supplies.

  • ELECTRONIC DEVICES- This World History Class will be a No-Zone for electronic devices except for when using a chrome book to complete class assignments.  Cell phones out and being used without teacher’s permission will be taken up and handed into the office.
