TSI Information
The TSI Assessment (TSIA) is an integral component of the Texas Success Initiative program, intended to assist colleges and universities in gauging your preparedness for college-level studies in reading, writing, and mathematics. If you're a prospective college student in Texas, taking the TSI Assessment is mandatory, unless you already meet exemption criteria, in order to assess your readiness for higher education coursework.
Depending on your performance, you might be enrolled directly into a college-level course or placed into an appropriate developmental course or intervention to enhance your skills and prepare you for higher-level college courses.
